A trial court in Jodhpur rejected the petition of former forest officer Lalit Bodha against Bollywood actor Salman Khan for misleading the court in connection with the 1998 1998 blackback spotting case.
In October 1998, Salman Khan was accused of hunting two blackbucks in Kankani village of Jodhpur. Khan was accused of possessing a licensed .22 rifle and .32 revolver, on which he allegedly used to hunt Blackbucks.
In 1998, during the shooting of Suraj Barjati’s film ‘Hum Saath Saah Hain’, Salman launched a shooting campaign with actor Saif Ali Khan, Neelam, Sonali Bendre and Tabu, killing two blackbucks in Kankni village.
After protests from local Bishnois community, a case was later filed against Salman and other actors.
On the front of the job, Salman is currently working on Katrina Kaif against Tiger Zinda Hai. Their popular reality show Big Boss 11 has also been set for premiere on Sunday, October 1st.
